Good Evening K9 World: I think I have FINALLY found my dog. :). She is a purebred female Gsd. She just turned 9 months old on the 15th. She is showing potential for detection work. I thought about trying something; So I hid some liver treats in and around my car and in the trunk. She got a whiff, then whammm. She started clawing at the trunk area. I never taught her anything before. I opened the trunk lid and she actually tried climbing inside it.
When I take her out walking, she acts as if she is on a mission to find someone's scent. Oh yeah, she is absolutely crazy about the tennis balls and bite pillow.
I will appreciate any thoughts and/or ideas you might have.... Mike

That is a good start, have you ever handled a tracking dog before?
