Today Mascani Ikon gained KorKlasse 1 under sv judge Herr Norbert Wettlaufer at the Midland Region GSD Group Koerung in the UK.
Prior to that Ike gained all his qualifications to enter a Koerung in the UK too......

We think this might be the first time this has been done in the UK - do you know differently?
(Ike also had his x-rays for A stamp hips and elbows in the UK)
It can be done in the UK if you want to!

This just proves that with the right dog it can be done in the UK. Sorry don't know if its a 1st just wanted to offer my congratulations on all you have achieved.

I have watched your perseverence Shirl - to say nothing of your hard work, when you work full time too - and I am so proud of you !!!
Ike worked brilliantly yesterday, and Ch. Mascani Odessa with Zep gained also her Leibenzeit - it was a fabulous day, and such a great atmosphere spent with good friends all trying their hand with their own special dogs, and making the dream come true of getting these very saught after qualifications handling the dogs themselves, and more importantly doing it in the UK - under respected SV judges - and not losing their dogs for a few months abroad to do so.

Well done, and whilst I am on the Working GSD side of the fence, congratulations firstly on the hard work you've put in, and even the AD is impressive, and can only benefit the breed.

Well done Shirley thats a great acheivment
However I beleive the 1st person to do this was Gail Hodgson with Argonne Admond Dante.
Well done to both these ladies it takes a lot of time and dedication.

I echo everyone's sentiments. Well done to you and Ikon, so good to see it all being done in the UK, and handling your own dog, I am sure you must have a great sense of satisfaction! Be proud.
