My 18 month GSD has always had a black spot towards the back of her tongue, but over the last 3 months she has developed another smaller black spot towards the front of her tongue. I thought perhaps I was losing my mind, I could have sworn that spot wasn't there before, so I went into my photo files and looked and sure enough that spot wasn't there 3 months ago. Her big ol' tongue is always in her photos so I looked at several just to see. Just thought it was a little weird that it just appeared like that. My male has tongue spots and they've always looked the same to me since he was a pup.

Both my female Aschyra and male Chaos developed spots on their tongues as they grew. My new pup has none at this point so it will be interesting to see if she develops some too.
