why do breeders say puppys are what they arnt. but i cant complain with this breeder as they are doing their best to work with me.
i got a male pup to step into the shoes of my male who passed on. i wanted a pup that i could continue on with my schutzhund with and to possably compete. so i buy this pup who of coarse is a very nice pet quality pup since the time i have brought him home this pup has bin very oversized i will not beable to kkl him if he keeps growing at his rate. he has no drive what so ever even very little food drive. as any of you can see this is HIGHLY frusterateing this pup is now 5 1/2 months old probably would be the best pet in the world he is good with kids and cats n other dogs and is house broken but by golly he wont fetch a ball if you begged him to. the breeder was thinking to help rehome the pup to get my money back or send pup back for a full refund once he sells his current litter he offered me a replacement puppy but i dislike the mother of the puppies he has now. how are you suppos to beable to have good working puppys with a bitch with no titles at all? and iffy ones in her backround where this pup has some very nice lines i guess not everyone relizes that not all puppies even from the best sire and dam make a good dog. it just helps some..... i mean sheesh my male who passed had a nice bite and a wonderful dog and his pedigree was shit till you get 4 gens back. but also he was a 50$ dog from someones backyard as a 1 1/2 year old not spending over 1000 on a dog who cant do anything XD ty for my rant. i just want a dang dog who has the drive to go after the leather ffs haha

Seems simple to me. Send the pup back, get your refund, find what you want. Puppies are a crap shoot and sometimes you have to wait for them. My male had 0 interest in ball, food, drive or anything from 5 1/2 till 12 months. Took me some work but now he's got beautiful drive, amazing grips and tracks like a vacumn but I was always happy with him and willing to wait.
If you're not, get your money back and try again.

Puppies are all crap shoots. If you bought this puppy for the sole purpose to do schutzhund/conformation work, and the puppy isn't develpping to your liking then you should take the pup back for a full refund, if you haven't became too attach with the animal that is.
What I recommend you to do the next time you want get a nice working dog is to save up your money to get either an already titled dog, or buy a green dog who already has some foundation work put into him/her. Sure it cost a lot more but you do get what you pay for.... well half the time that is.
Be sure that the next breeder that you're going to get your dog from has working videos on their website of the dog who is available for sale.

I'm torn on this one. I get attached to my GSDs and I'm not to that point where they are 100% business. My bud raises top notch Rotts and at times I might think he's a little cold but it's his business, a great kennel and his choice.
My thoughts are first remember or remind yourself what your goal or objective before buying the pup was. Be honest with and to yourself. I think that once you answered yourself truthfully then you will have your answer. Just my thoughts.

IF THE BREEDER IS WILLING TO GIVE YOU BACK YOUR MONEY, THEN I THINK YOU GET YOUR MONEY BACK, RETURN THE PUP AND GET ONE THAT YOU WILL BE HAPPY WITH. ALL WILL WORK OUT, YOU'LL SEE. GOOD LUCK

well i think i have found the best option i found a lady here who lives on a very large ranch who wants him for the price that i paied for him the breeder is willing to exchange the contract for his hips to this new lady but i wanted him to find a good home not be shiped off somewhere as i do care a ton for this boy.
i have thought long and hard about giving him up because he is a very nice looking boy and very large GSDpack could tell you lol. he has correct teeth and structure so far it will be a sad loss for me but a very nice bonus for the woman who is getting him i will post pictures of him up on here before he leaves.

yet you mention that you do not like the bitch that he has pups from, AND you mention your 50 dollar backyard dog did you right with a silly pedigree as well. LOL It is a mess isn't it ?
