Just like when the 101 Dalmations movie was popular, people began wanting that breed and soon after the animal shelters began seeing more dalmations.

You think there are alot of GSDs at shelters, just wait.
After people take on this fad as I call it as with the Dalmations, they will find out a GSD is not for everyone and here we go again.

I recently went to a dog show for the first time, not AKC but I was looking forward to seeing what went on and of course I wanted to see the GSDs. Pretty disappointing all the way around the birch that took BIB had a hooked tail and several of the dogs seemed nervous and stressed out. I'm not sure what I expected but that wasn't it
