What is the point of having a courage test done on these animals when the stick doesn't even touch the dogs?

I don't know what you are trying to say but you can come give this dog as hard of a stick hits as you wish he is strong and clear animal. He is the son of the Universal Sieger Fabian Vom Mittelwest.
I also wish the helpers would actualy bring the fight to the dog but as we both know there is a lot of politics involved in these events.

Yes, and those politics are why the dogs are not really tested, as they would be in any club trial. I didn't watch the videos. I have already seen what they would show multiple times.

There are no stick hits on the long bite. Same as there are no stick hits on the long bite in a working trial. Only in the SchH3 are there stick hits on the reattack.

Am I supposed to be impressed?

The bites are half mouth, the dog's body language is unsure especially after "pressure" in the attack.

This is THE Sieger show right, I presume that mean this is the best of the best in terms of what the GSD world has to offer? In that case, there are a dozen dogs down my local shcutzhund club with a better bite, more power, better confidence, more agile and importantly better conformation for work.

A friend of mine is looking for a stud for his foundation bitch, with pups pre booked by police and security. Would I rush to recommend this dog after seeing the video, you must be kidding.

Unless you have better videos to prove me wrong. Somehow I doubt it.

Even people who are beginners can see the huge difference between show dogs and dogs that can actually work.
