Any video's or pic's??? I heard the winner is 67 yrs old!!! What an inspiration!!! Congrats to the WINNER Mr. Biehler (sp?)I would love to hear more, was anyone from the database there? Was it awesome?

We were there. The last time I was at the BSP was in 2000. The overriding theme from this event is that the level of traning has increased dramatically. There were very few dogs that showed poor sprit in obedience (actually only 2 that I remember seeing) and many very good performances in bitework. Fritz did win (we actually heard that he's 75 . . . but either age, it was impressive) . . . he's now one 4 times with 4 different dogs . . .1970, 1974, 1976 and 2006. Also, the 2nd place dog (from the same kennel) was trained by Fritz. I'll try to put pics up in the next couple of days.

Dogjam, I would LOVE to see any pic's from the BSP!!! Thank you for that! I was surprised there wasn't more discussion or info. here, on the board. I have only heard wonderful things about this man, he was here in the states 2 1/2 yrs ago and did a seminar, unfortunately I was out of the country and so dissappointed I couldn't have seen him. Hopefully one day, I will. I so look forward to the pic's...thanks in advance dogjam.

So Fritz did it again. God Bless him. Too bad Caro is noch-zuglassen. He won't get many (if any) breedings.

by Talia on 29 September 2006 - 00:09

Shelley, Can you translate that for me? Why won't he get any breedings?

by dogjam101 on 29 September 2006 - 20:09

It means that his hips are the lowest passable quality.

thanks dogjam. : )

Is he NZ for hips, or is that for elbows (since the NZ is in the 'elbows' field...)?

Caro is NZ for elbows, a1 (normal) for hips
