What kind of bedding do you guys use for your puppies? I had been using pine bedding, but I'M allergic to it. I've been breaking out from it, and itching like crazy. They don't seem to have any problem with it, and I've used it in the past.  My body changed ever since I had a lot of mold exposure though, and now I have reactions to things that didn't bother me before.  What do you guys use that wouldn't cause any allergic reactions to people, or dogs?

Once there out in the kennel I,ve always used shavings but you could use shreaded paper. You can buy it from most recycling centers in bulk bales. Just a idea.

I keep my puppies in a 5 foot by 10 foot kennel.

One side is large sheets of cardboard or newspaper

The other side is 5 foot by 5 foot carpet remnant.  I have about 5 remnants for the puppies

When the carpet gets dirty, I hang it on the chain link fence and hose it down, and let it sit on the fence airing out.

The advantage is that they seem to prefer NOT to pee and poop on the carpet, and go on the paper.  When they are 4 weeks old they start going outside and doing business outside.

By the time they go to their new homes at 9 weeks of age, they are nearly housebroken.

works for me, try it
