Now I cant be the only one dealing with this.  Sargo is 16 months and in the past he has tried humping a pillow here or there or maybe a stuffed animal or something.  But hear recently he has decided that he should try to hump everything.  Today he tried mounting the kids several times.  I have started to correct with a real stern "NO". Should I be doing something else?

Sorry I don't have any advise for ya.

To make ya feel a lil better though- my female humps my male once in a while.
The hubby and I thought it was pretty funny and we didn't make any corrections. She was just trying to show the other pup she's the boss, between them 2! lol

LOL...BHall what is really funny about it is that he looks so uncoordinated when he is trying to do it.  Focused but uncoordinated......And please don't ask me what a coordinated hump looks like....LOL

My pitbull must have hessell blood in there somewhere.  his favorite is when you pick up a blanket, pillow or anything that resembles.

"so there's a humping gene somewhere in there"

does anyone know if this is a recessive or dominant gene.

Jwalker, I agree w/Bhall, I have a hessel female that has done this since she was a pup. Her litter mates are the same way.
