Super food for any animals, nearly a complete food by itself,no problems 2or3 times a week.Try to obtain from producer then you know they are fresh

Eggs • They should not be fed raw too often as the raw egg white can cause a loss of biotin (a B-vitamin). • To prevent the loss of biotin, eggs should be soft boiled to kill the avidin which is the cause of the biotin problem. • Bring some water to a boil in a saucepan. • Once boiling, remove from the heat. • Add the eggs and let them soak in the hot water for 5 minutes. • After 5 minutes, remove the eggs and crack them in the bowl or on the plate to stop the cooking process. • The slight cooking still allows the egg to maintain plenty of nutrients while helping to kill the avidin.

Chinito, the only thing that I can add to Badpuppy's list is the possibility of contacting salmonella bacteria from raw eggs. While nowadays this seldom occurs since most eggs are commercial eggs, it is still present. The slight cooking may well be enough to kill this bacteria. The dogs will love them any way they get them. I have chickens and feed my dogs raw eggs 2-3X per week. It is wonderful for the coat. I do give a Vit B pill to each dog when they are given an egg.

I use them too. Great source of protein. and yet on the other page we were discussing LESS PROTEIN. I don't beleive in cutting protein !!!! but that's just me and my OP I do scramble them though to make sure no salmonilla, just overcautious that way I guess.

i used to feed some raw eggs until I found out that there is an enzyme in either the white or yoke that is bad for them. Now I microwave or boil some water and crack the egg into it til it is not raw then I feed it water and all.they love it. they need to be cooked somehow.

Hi guys, there's protein and then there's protein!! The protein in eggs is great for dogs - they are a complete food source - when they get the shell as well, you rarely get the biotin problem. Feed in moderation, as in all things! If you want to add Vit-B, add brewers yeast tablets or powder, dogs love the taste. My dogs eat the tablets like they are lollies!! Sometimes we also give seaweed powder - it's great for the coat and pigmentation (as is sunflower oil). Regards,
