Can anyone advise me as im having trouble with my puppy eating Riyal Canin puupy food.Basically he doesnt like it and i have to force him to eat it.I have tried putting a bit of water in it and getting him to eat it that way but he doesnt.Hes now 7 months old and im worried as i dont want him loosing weight. Can anyone reccomend anything elae he could try with the same nutritional value as R.C..Ive read on forums that its actually not that good a food and there is better ones you can try.Any help would be good as im now at my wits end worrying about it as hes still so young.
thanks

Mine are on GSD Puppy 30.
At six months they go on GSD 24, don't care what they recommend.
I do use some raw meat and yogurt or cottage cheese on the food for all.

He is on German Shepherd 30 at the moment, hes 7 months old but now doesnt seem to want to eat it,hes not ill and i really dont want to change the food but im not sure what else to do.Why do they say on the pack that they need to stay on the puppy food till 15 months. How old is your shepherd?

I like to take them to lower protein at 6 months to slow down growth. My opinion.
Try a small bag of the GSD24 and see if he likes that better
Good luck : )

I also noticed picking up the food after 10 minutes if they dont touch it or finish eating it, makes them a bit hungry if u feed them 6 hours later or the next day. That way they know eat if its in front of you, or stay hungry Your choice.

As I posted in the above thread, my GSD (10 months) has done very well on Acana Wild Prairie (and I also feed some raw). It was important to switch her to a grain free food.
