Can someone please tell me what color's do the USA Schutzhund club of America use for registration of a puppy? I find it hard to believe they do not allow Bi-Colors. Thanks

Bi-colors are registered as black/tan(brown, yellow.... whichever choice available that best fits said dog) with USCA and SV, I believe.

It might help you to think of bi-color as a pattern. Bi-color pattern is genetically an extended form of the saddle is how I understand it.

I believe bi-color to be a separate color. However, the SV does not have it as a choice (to my knowledge).

bi-color is a dog that has no brown/tan on anything but its feet and some on legs.
it is definetly a color and is a akc reconized color.i have them and they are reg. as bis'.

I would do a google on that... or a search on this board. You are describing a pattern. A bi-color patterned dog is comprised of two different colors, that is certainly correct.

I wouldn't put AKC about the SV but, to each his own.
