After you get just ssay a 15 month old naturally protective dog that has it in its genetics after you bring them home when is the usual amount of time before the dog may show signs of being protective over his or her property , crate car etc..
I know it cant be right away because that would just be silly a dog protecting something it doesnt even know that well

At 6 weeks of age+/- at his original home.
After transport to new location it could be rather way and up. Depends on dogs genetics, age and training.

yeah i was just curious generally about really confidant dogs that have it in them i understand some dogs do not have it in them
if it is the first few days wouldnt it be fearful? how would a dog consider a place its home the first few days?

my guy we had him since 9weeks. and now he 6 1/2 months.
hes really protective of the girls in the household..
example. we were at the pet store i was looking at fish :) and the girls where taking him around the doggy area for some treats for him. he saw someone that he wasnt unsure of. showed teeth no bark just stood beside my gf and showed teeth, but once she said its ok. he went up to the guy and licked his hand...
really happy with his attitude in life, hes really full of himself. on the field its great, but when it comes to the household and life its self it can get annoying and frustrated sometimes.
home that answer your question. and alittle about my guy.
thanks
btw he trains in sch too

Our earliest experience with a real protective experience, involved a young bitch puppy out of my SAR K9 partner Morghana's That Others May Liv x Ulla vom Poppitz FH BH AD. I sold this puppy to my husband's work colleague and his family. At 4 mons. old, this puppy protected the young daughter from a mid-morning attempted home invasion. The puppy literally threw herself at the front door and living room window, growling and snarling. The 3 perps were picked up by the police.
* this puppy went to her new home at 8 weeks - so she lived with them approx 2 mons before incident occurred.
