Yes congratulations to Veneze kennels too.  When was the last time a  GSD won best in group at crufts?  Also when did a GSD last win BIS at crufts?

Good luck for Sunday, I will be watching and cheering for Elmo.

Anyone know a link where I can get the full results from the GSD ring  crufts 2011 today?

by Mackenzie on 11 March 2011 - 21:03

The last GSD BIS at Crufts was Ramacon Swashbuckler in 1971. Before that Fenton of Kentwood was BIS in 1967 and Nibelung of Charavigne in 1969 Mackenzie

Absolutely thrilling to see him win & will be hoping he gets BIS.  He's a fantastic GSD & well deserves this win.  We'll be cheering for him on Sunday!

If you visit the home page for DFS Crufts you can get all the results plus videos & interviews & watch live coverage from the main ring.

Congrats to the dog a most deserved win.Not being pickie but is it not more to do with the breeder than a buy in owner ?

by Member on 12 March 2011 - 06:03

Arbeiter, if it was just the case of buying a dog which has the potential to achieve top awards then more people would be successful. Not only should the breeder be congratulated but the whole team on the promotion of "Elmo" in the UK,  Well done to John and Pauline Cullen, Steve Cox and also Stevie Alker. This is just the recognition needed at a time when progress is being made to promote all the Health issues associated with our breed and it`s future . "Elmo" ticks all the boxes. So congratulations not just for the "Team" but everyone involved with "Elmo" and we hope his success continues  on Sunday.
