Sorry I have to share, my girl whelped 9 puppies on Monday. She is a real trooper and did most of the work by herself.
Yes she has had hips & elbow xrayed. No working titles though as we live in OZ.
Wouldn't you know it I have orders for Males and she had 6 females and 3 males. One of the males was less than half the size of the other puppies and I made a conscious decision not to intervene and sure enough mum pushed him out and he later passed away

Isn't mother nature amazing; I have had mama dog reject and in all cases something was not right with the puppies. Wished we had their wisdom. Beautiful mama and babies; she looks so calm and proud. Enjoy. Nan

Thanks for the kind replies, they are Yerom vom Haus Salihin grandpuppies so I am hoping for great things from these babies, they have put on heaps of weight, the biggest is now 820grams. At only 3 days old they are never still (unless they fall asleep on the nipple that is ). I think we will have some fun by the time they are 6 weeks 
. Just can't wait. I would like to run at least 1 male & 1 female on.
