My dog responds to all three styles of collars. when walking my dog the prong collar gives more pressure even when the dog is giving very min amount of pulling. The prrong collar seems to take less effort in correction, but have to be careful not to over correct.
Please give your opinions.

This depends on the dog and the situation. If your dog is responding to the fur saver on the live ring, use the fursaver. If your dog is in drive and is not responding to fursaver, go back to the prong. I have a female gsd that is really sensitive to my commands in obedience and a correction with a fursaver works like a prong collar. In "C" I have to use a prong or e-collar. With the prong or too harsh of a correction can bring down the drive of the dog. But I would go with the least invasive tool that brings you success.

If however he is opposed to the use of the collar because of personal preference or as a concession to public opinion as an inappropriate training tool, then I would have to agree with Mr. Behun re his goober status.

If we are talking about walking the dog but not when it's working, then I agree with what Kyle said to do, and what Phil said about your trainer being a goober.
