Goran,
How far have you been running him and how old is he? Is it possible you have been running him too far on hot pavement?
Give him a rest and use Friars Balsam daily on his pads it will help to harden them up.

I thought that might have been your problem.
Friars Balsam comes in a small bottle holding about 20mls of liquid and can be bought in a pharmacy or if your are in the US I would guess a drug store.
I bought some for 1 of my dogs for the same problem. I applied it with a small artists paint brush and painted it on the pads twice a day for a week.
Good luck with him
It is used by hikes to harden their feet before going on long hikes
