Orijen is amazing!
For the first time in his life, Hero cannot wait for dinner. He eats with gusto and is satisfied with only 4 cups a day.
He is finally filling out, his coat glistens, his eyes are bright, he has endless energy too. Oh, and his loose poops are finally a thing of the past.

Hi,
thought I add this to your post....
I have fed my GSD female with Royal Canine L Puppy and GSD since she was 9 weeks old, she is 20 months now.
She had a few episodes with skin allergies around her muzzle, more precisely underneath and
around her flews.
We did a scraping to eliminate mites.
Our girl was very itchy and we put her antibiotics to clear up the secondary infection and then we put her on prednisone.
it took about 4 weeks to finally clear up.
We thought maybe contact dermatitis....some kind of allergy... she would also chew on her hind legs and back.
( no fleas on her )
A few weeks ago it started again...after talking to some friends I decided to look for a different dog food.
We found Acana which is also made by Champion dog foods in Canada , same manufacturer as Orijen.
and it is also grain free. it has less protein then orijen and we thought we give it a try.
After a week the dog stopped itching, after 2 weeks the skin healed on it's own and the dog is back to normal!
Coat looks great and her appetite is back.
so far she has been on the food for 6 weeks and she is doing super.
I like the fact that it is made in Canada (higher food standards) and nothing in it from China!

Orijen Large Breed Puppy is one of the few foods where you can get high levels of quality protein and appropriate levels of Ca/Phos for a puppy. I raised my most recent pup on this for 14 months. He grew slowly, hips prelim nice. His coat is beautiful.
