Keef, thank you for sharing your story with all of us.  We are standing strong beside you as we all feel your grief and pain.  On August 6 I lost my 10 1/2 GSD Rocky to Hemangiosarcoma.  I  like you have done alot of research on that and will research more information on bloat.  Your story will save several lives and spare many people the pain of what so many of us have experienced.  Heartfelt for Viggo and your family.  Cathy

So sorry for your lose. Lost my first German Shepherd at 5 years to cancer. My second at almost 11 to scoliosis in the neck  and then bloat issues. My GS now had cataract surgery  at 4 months, sent to a cardiologist  cause of being revived on the table.testicals not dropped again used meds to keep him going on the table. Hyper but very good and loving,at 2, etc.  Long story short  I've been thru it all, but keep them all in my heart and memory everyday. Each one special in their own way.

Oh Cathy,

I've been following your thread about Rocky. I'm sorry to hear that you lost him.

My condolences to you and your family in this time of grief. RIP Rocky.

Birdy...
