i am neither a breeder or kennel owner. i prchased a puppy from a breeder once of sutton now i beleive notts. my dog now is 11 months old. i have called and written to the breeder for my registration documents, but to no availe. I think as a member of the general public who, doesnt buy gsd regularly. I feel that people should be made aware of breeders like this man. and his partner. i took my puppy away in good faith being told my paperwork would follow shortly....i only wish that i found this furum before i bought my dog.then maybe i could of seen what this person was like. and steered away from him. My puppy actually broke her fibia with a spiral fracture i wonder if this is something to do with her bone density???

A spiral fracture is VERY unusual, even in humans. I am sorry for your bad experience, sadly it happens alot I hear. I don't think it's a bone density thing,it would present differently.Spiral fractures generally come from some unusual grabbing or getting stuck or some motion that,as the injury suggests, has some twisting involved. Did anyone handle your puppy besides you? was she unattended? I don't mean to suggest anything on you, truely. It is perplexing though.Did the vet have any input? Was she with any big animals maybe who played rough?

Crystal, dont know where your at but get an attorney and go after him in court. I know if he sold me a pup and did not provide registration documents I would be on his doorstep come hell and highwater til he did. After that it would be me or him. GSDlvr2 has provided you with some good input hope it helps and things work out for you, best regards

Crystal, This is about PEOPLE, not just breeders. I have found that a couple of polite phone messages followed by a calm but deadly serious threat of legal action will stir such a person from their apathy. Remember that your interests are nothing to such a person until it becomes in his interest to care. Good luck.

I hate to say this but perhaps here we go again. Mr Ricardo Byrnes lived in Sutton and has now moved to Nottingham. If this is the person you bought your puppy from of Bygoly kennel you are going to be struggling. He always did this. Now he is banned by the kennel club for 12 years for something else. Is this the same person. If so I will post the advice given to me by Trading Standards David

sorry i have taken longto answer. she was on a lead just been collected from boarding kennels. the girl handed me the lead at the same time the puppy spotted my partner. she then jumped up him then i can only presume as the ground was uneven landed akwardly on herback. i am not sure that by moving her the fracture was made worse but we will never know. the vet dd a wonderful job on the fracture, she has now fully recovered and is a typical 1 yr old !
