I see Rumo has grown into a beautiful dog and gained weight and muscles, here I try:
More than medium size, good type, very nice pigment, good substance and proportions. Medium strong head, nice expression , beautiful neck, very good high but sl short withers, sufficiently firm back and as he grows older it will grow stronger but a real beautiful topline, sufficient length of croup with very good lay, sufficient forequarter angulation ( can be better), sufficient depth of chest, though correct but I like better hindquarter angulation, in short a very nice looking dog, enjoy him. By the way the older the better he looks.

I'm not very good at critiquing, but I know what I like, and I like him!

I'm going to add some details as Rumo is my dog. He is 11.5 months old, and a month ago he weighed in at 78 lbs. Not sure how much he's grown since then, probably not too much. Does he look like he'll add any more weight on? Does he look too skinny? Some people say he looks too skinny, so I'd like to know what you guys think.
Thanks!!

Georgous pictures and beautiful sable!!
If your dog is at his ideal weight, you should be able to feel and slightly see the outline of his ribs. His waist should be visible when viewed from above, and you should note a slight tuck of the abdomen when viewed from the side. I believe that pictures 2 and 6 portray this description. Weight and age are two hard things to go by because every dog has his or her own particular build. My pup, at 7 months, weighs 76 lbs, yet it fits his body's ideal weight. Plus, adding the muscle and height he will continue to gain will only increase his weight.
A good way to have your dog maintain his own ideal body weight is free feeding (that is of course if he doesn't over eat). This will allow your GSD to eat whenever he is hungry, rather than conform to a routine of timed feedings.
Here's a pic of my pup, Koda!

Very nice dog. Very good musculature and a very well shaped head. Rumo will be quite the man-stopper by the time he's 24 months.

find a SV judge at a show near you. Let him give you the facts. I always find that is where i learn the most, well that matters any way.
