General Personal Protection Training Questions - Page 1

1)  At what age do you begin PP traning for your dogs?

2)  I see that there are different levels and what is the typical amount of time that it takes to complete each level?  I know that every dog is different and some pick it up fast while others it takes some time, so just looking for a general number.

3)  How often do you do it with your dog?  I know the amount of time is different if your a breeder/trainer compared to a regular "joe owner" who has a full time job.

4) What subtle & big differences have you seen in your dog as they progress through training?  i.e. at home when you are not working them.

5)  Also for those that have trained dogs at home as a pet, how often do you take your dog to work on somethings with a trainer?  Once a monh?  Once every 2 months?  Only when you feel you need to refresh stuff with the dog?
