Just wondered if anyone's dog has had an allergic reaction to a rubber kennel mat ?? My 10yr GSD has came out in red spots on his belly and armpits since I put a rubber mat in his kennel. It may just be coincidence but it seems a bit strange that he never has had any skin probs before and about a week after I put the mat in I noticed he began to scratch.

Kennel or crate ? Not sure why there is a need for a rubber mat at ten.

Do you wash the rubber mat in anything that might have caused a reaction, or was it a new mat that might have been treated with something that wasnt washed off before you used it? Mo.
