Working. I hope to do search and rescue work with him in the future because I always like to volunteer my time and it would be great to have a companion join me. He is doing very well with the training courses he has already been to and just depends on if he can pick up the skills or not. In the end, he has been one of the best friends I could have ever asked for. ha!

I hope to do SAR as well, but the closest SAR group is two hours away. I have been training on my own. I am training him as a trailing dog first and may later add air scenting. Right now we are working on 20 minute old tracks 200 to 300 yards long. he has done well up to this point.
