I would like to extend thanks to the committee and judges of the show. It was a fantastic week-end, well organised, even down to "dodging" the heavy rain of the second afternoon, by forward thinking and skipping lunch to get finished before the rains ! It worked. Once again, confidence in a good hardworking and innovative committee - keeping up the forward thinling of the GSD League, which is the obvious way for the GSD exhibitors in the UK to follow. Mo and all at Mascani.

Big well done to the committee! Big well done to all the winners!

Fantastic show, very well run... we even had result sheets at the end, which allowed people (me) to fill in the gaps!

Those BEES were pretty spectacular... first time I've seen a swarm!

Yes ! What about the bees, it was amazing I was doing my "grandma" bit and had introduced my little 10 month old to the mad show world that day,the "black cloud" approached, everyone started to scat and a few screams were heard, and then they were upon us all.... and I found myself throwing a blanket over baby Connie as they stormed the show. Looked around for Sam (8) and he was already under a blanket, playing his psp out of the sunshine glare - so safe) I have never seen anything like that, but didnt hear that anyone got in their way, so that was good, but scary for a moment.
It was a fantastic catch up day for me too - ssw Joan and Howard Jones - Mortoff - and Ivor and Sybil Jacobson - Lindmark, folk that live in the depths and only get out on their high days and holidays, but it was great to see them. Also, Irish exhibitors, and the winner of the bitch open class was mouth watering (unlucky for me, second to her - but I had no chance to go further) she was fantastic I thought, brilliant performance that she put in, and coat and condition to die for.
Sunday we were all privvy to our own viewing of the Air Show too - but these were all asides to the great atmosphere, organisation, and thought down to the last detail of the committee for the exhibitors.... Unless the KC get over themselves however, it will be the last one that the GSDL do for them won`t it? and I make no mistake for saying "do for them" as it should certainly be noticed by the KC that GSD people are still keeping to their committed plans and running brilliant shows. Mo.

Is it possible that the GSDL may consider holding a GSDL/WUSV TWO DAY EVENT on an annual basis?
I think this would be a good idea, especially if it is held at Weston Park on the second week-end of June.
Even held at another excellent venue, I am sure it would still be very well supported and an outstanding GSD Event.
