First Meal - Page 1

Today was the day and I decided at 19 days old to start the Malinois kids on gruel to help Mom out - 13 kids is a lot!  Here are pics of the free for all.

          I count 13 puppies , damn!!..... They all look very healthly.
How is mom doing ?  A little sore I would think. Beautiful litter.
I know a very nice Lady in Texas who's name is Judith Powel.

There are 13 of them - poor Momma never wants to do this again!  I was only counting on 8 per the x-ray and man did I get suprised.  I certainly hope my next litter is not this big.

Malis have big litters,I can tell you.My first mali Esta /called Ira/ comes from 10 pups.In her 1st litter she had 12 puppies born alive and 1 puppy was born dead - the last one.She is an excellent mother,takes great care of her pups.She loves all puppies and all children.In her 2nd litter there were 10 puppies.Her daughter from our A litter had one litter with 14 pups and one with 9 pups and another daughter had a litter with 10 pups.
Judy,I hope for a nice litter of 6-8 puppies every time with malis.
