I have seen on the website something about this agility show. I would like to go to it but i cannot seem to find any info on the venue for 2010.

I have found the following link:
http://www.agilityeye.co.uk/schedule/Cippenham/Cippenham-entry-may10.pdf

But this is the entry form & it only states the date.

Date: Sunday 30th May 2010

My guess is that it will be in Upton Court Park like last year. If so then i can easily go as upton court park is a 5 minute walk from my house.

If anyone can help me find the venue or post any links i would be most welcome, please.

Thank you.

I think it is in High wycombe as it says that adress in the link i posted above. However i am not sure if that adress on there is the adress for the venue, or the adress for a builidng or area for the hearing dogs for deaf people.

Hamza

Agility shows are not generally open to the 'public' as such, it's not the same as a breed show. You usually have to be a competitor to be able to attend. So it's probably best if you check that with them.

In any case I doubt that you would see many GSDs at an agility show. We have a GSD which competes, but we do not often see many others, they are few and far between. On the other hand you would probably see quite a few Belgian Shepherds :)

If public are allowed and you go, I hope you enjoy it.

Hamza, Agility Shows are open to the public - I have NEVER heard of one in all the years I have competed where spectators are not permitted.  Have just double checked with a friend who competes regularly and she was shocked that anyone could give out such misinformation.  Go and enjoy yourself, but Dingodog is right in one thing - you won't see many GSDs, the sport is dominated by Border and Working Collies

I am pretty sure that this agility show is open to the public. I am not going for the GSD's i am jsut going for a spot of fun & to see some agility & also to make up to the fact that i am not going to the WUSV show.

Alyson
We have competed at several where the general public are not permitted. Perhaps I should have phrased it more generally that at some events the GP are not 'encouraged'. That does not of course apply to such events as Paws in the Park, or fun agility competitions.

One agility club recently had an item on their meeting agenda saying that they did not wish to encourage the general public,

and the following statement was put on a schedule to ALERT competitors to the fact that the GP were going to be at this show:

THIS IS A PUBLIC EVENT AND COMPETITIORS ARE ADVISED THAT THE GENERAL PUBLIC ARE AT THIS 3 DAY
AGRICULTURAL SHOW.

So some are and some are not, which is what I suggested Hamza do (just check first).

Well Hamza, I hope you enjoy the day, and have a good time. Shame you can't make it to the show you wanted to go to.
