My mom recently got these pics that I thought I'd share; they're of Trumps, a sable GSD from the mines in South West Africa (now Namibia). He was donated to my grandfather - apparently he spent most of his time trying to get out of his kennel and to the bitches (clearly, he was a lover, not a fighter). This was in 1944.

This is a picture of Trumps with my mom in 1944.
