I wasn't going to post anymore, BUT, I need help finding this little guy, I'm doing all I can to find out where he went.....
We believe he is in the Reading/Belmont Massachusetts area
My pup was taken from my home on March 23rd 2010.
He was born February 28th 2010, he is a sable male, weighs about 5 pounds.
I trusted people that came to my house to get their 3 month old black & red male pup, that I put all my dogs outside, and let the people see the younger pups, it was a husband and wife that I trusted very much cause of the job the man has.
On Monday I let the lady hold one of the 3 week old pups.
Well, when I let them visit Monday on March 22nd, I had just wormed the 3 week old pups that morning, and because there were nine pups, I wrote down on a piece of paper, who was who as I wormed them, so I could keep track.
After talking me down more on the price of the 3 month old black & red in an e-mail the next day, the wife said they could come right away, on Tuesday and get him, so I said great, he'll have a good home.
The people also mentioned that a friend of theirs is looking for a male pup also, and would love to come over that Saturday & see the pups, they mentioned their friend wanting a pup in the e-mail they sent also.
When they came for their pup, My son 14yrs old and I were the only ones home, my son was watching TV not really paying attention.
The man was looking over all the younger pups, and saying he could come back with his friend on Saturday, he said "Ill come with him on Sat. so he'll know where he's going"
The man at one point went out to his car and came back, sometimes people do that to get a collar, or leash....
When they were leaving, I had them sign the paper that everyone does, name, address, phone.
They never went over anything in the puppy packet, like the AKC papers, what I'm feeding pup, when does he go to the vet again.
I didn't think much of that.
When they were getting in the car, he opened the back door behind the drivers seat and was fixing something, and she was on the opposite side getting in the back seat, I asked, did he get his bag of food (10 cups in a baggie), and she said oh ya, all set, he got into the driver seat while she was still trying to close the back passenger door, I was going to get off the front porch & help her, but she shut it, usually people help the person holding the pup into the car.
I didn't count the 3 week old pups when they left, why would I have too.
Then the next morning as I looked in on the pups, I noticed one missing, the whole family looked everywhere for days, no pup, it just vanished into thin air.
The people that came to my house the day before, were the only people with access to the litter, I'm 99.9% sure they snatched one.
They were the only strangers near the litter of pups.
The wife e-mailed me at 10:25am the morning I noticed I was missing a pup, she had only had him from 3pm till 10:25am the next day, and she wrote me a very lengthy e-mail like she had him for a week, she thought he was the best pup in the world, no problems and she asked me about 4 questions.
I didn't reply, then she e-mailed me at 6:30pm that day asking what to feed him.

I am very happy to see you were reunited with your lost dog, I would love someday to be reunited with this little guy.
I know the people who have taken my puppy, I just can't do a darned thing about it, so I'm telling everyone to keep an eye out for him.
They purchased a 3 month old male black & red pup from a previous litter, and while they were picking him up, I said, oh what the heck, I'll show them the younger pups,
Big mistake that cost me, and now who knows what kind of life that poor little pup will have, that is if he's still alive....
I am heartbroken, he's all I can think of.......

You've got their name and address, give them a visit.

I can't accuse anyone, but I can get the word out to all the vets, and animal control officers, I have a good feeling I'll see him again, it's a small world we live in....
I just started feeding everyone solid food yesterday, and they loved it, so maybe he's eating ok.....
Just sickening......someone would stoop so low, very bad decision on their part...

Actually, RS's idea may be a good one... an unannounced visit, to see how the (kosher) pup is getting on.
