Does anyone know about Fleischerheim? Any advice?

thanks, gsd

Flescherheim is a franchise, many different breeders selling under the same name. Some good some not as good.

Do a search these mesage boards and you will see.

A search of these message boards resulting in disgruntled customers claiming that Fleischerheim is a "franchise" doesn't make it so.

Nobleheim German Shepherd's, Shirley Is one of the most honest and ethical breeder for Fleischerheim, but she does her own breeding and has some awesome pup's and adult's. I bought off her and will highly reccomend anyone to her.
She is in Bells Texas.

I had a Nobleheim pup in one of my classes, out of a Dux son. Very, very fine young male. Excellent anatomy and drives.

I've never met anyone unhappy with their Fleischerheim dog, the prices just make me choke.

I spoke to Bill on the phone a few years ago when I first started looking for a GSD. He seemed like a really nice guy and although I liked the pedigrees and puppies he had to offer, they were just out of my budget...  Good luck getting your new puppy!

P.S. It's true what Keith said about doing a search.. Most of the time people "go public" when they have complaints, rather than nice things to say, unfortunately

There is a Flescherheim breeder in my area that can't even spell the breed correctly ("W. German Shepards.")  This particular breeder also breeds a couple of other breeds.  Their litter is currently advertised on the Fleischerheim website.  Based on that representation of a "breeder," I personally wouldn't purchase a dog from them.

From my impression (not based on doing a search of messages on this board,) I don't get the impression that Fleischerheim is a "breeder" by all definitions but rather a puppy broker with satellite breeders around the United States actually breeding and raising the puppies.

I think this is close to it, except that Bill does the matchmaking too.

Who is the breeder?  Website?  Which liiter?
