Did anyone see this tonight, it is repeated on More 4+ at 8.30.
I understand that they showed the GSD best of breed gaiting and the commentator and Caroline Cisko made some disgusting remarks about him. Have just had a phone call from someone who was so irate about it, will watch the repeat at 8.30 and see what exactly was said.

I'm livid...I can't believe that they slandered that beautiful dog on the CruftsTV programme. That dog was a worthy BOB winner on the day, totally unexaggerated and probably had more health checks than the others in the group ring with him. That was slander of the breed and cruel to CLOKELLYS LAGOS' owner/ breeder as well as insulting to the judge. I really think the breed council should respond before tomorrow nights programme....
But it was Claire Balding who made the comment.

IT WAS DISGRACFUL AND STAGED BY SISKO AND CLAN. A INSULT TO A BEAUTIFUL WORTHY WINNER AND THE JUDGE.

Disgusting, and most definitely set up for Clare to make the comment, and have the slow motion clip of the GSD moving, so they can slag off the breed, and twist the viewers minds against the correct type GSD yet again! They have access to the dog's hip scores and health tests, why don't they read those out on the programme and show just how healthy the dog is, instead of letting vulnerable viewers be taken in by their garbage comments, and have them believe the dog must be unhealthy with bad hips and back!

Someone with good wording should go to http://www.facebook.com/Crufts?v=feed&story_fbid=10150127046375584 there is currently only one comment about the GSD - "was very distubed by the GSD shown! frog legs!"  

Or  just post on  http://www.facebook.com/Crufts?v=feed&story_fbid=10150127046375584#!/Crufts?v=wall and I know the KC people read it as they respond to people's comments.

The quicker you people catch on, that the time has long gone when we can reason with the KC, the quicker we can move on.  I am sick of reading comments from people i had previously thought possessed common sense.  In order for us to make any progress we will have to be brutally honest, and realise that  to make our hobby fun again we are going to have to cut to the bone and rid ourselves of the two faced people who " claim"  to represent us,  walk away from the kennel club with what's left of our dignity,  and  start again.
   The reservations i have,  is that the usual suspects will unfortunately rise like the Phoenix from the ashes, and start their  preaching all over again, leading us back into the wilderness.  ( hows that for mixed metaphors? )
   I wish i had the same enthusiasm as twenty years ago, because then i would have tried every thing at my disposal to give the KC a run for their money, now i am completely ambivalent , ( sadly )
