A good looking dog with everything almost perfect refrains from socializing and acts weird when we pull a pram or crib or move a chair. It seems that dog was not really used to Urban life. What should be done to improve the behaviour and courage of the dog.

If this dog is not used to being around a crib, or pram etc.. you have to introduce these things to him. He has never seen these before. EVERYTHING TAKES TIME!! That does not mean he is NOT COURAGEOUS! Dawn

thats what I am doing and now he has started acting better but still kinda little indifferent to things like that. I think he needs time and patience from us. thanks

The dog I had bought had never seen the inside of a house, He was 2 years old when we bought him, I brought him from the plane into my house this poor dog I had no idea... But it all worked out. Have Faith ! and introduce new things slowly don't push him to it, let him figure it out for him self, once he's acting comfortable with an item then go touch it and talk to him, tell him it's ok, let him know that you can touch it and it's not eating you. Good Luck keep up the good work.

Suhail, Any dog which coms from abroad is very uncertain about his new surrouding. Give him time to settle down. The first priorty should be that he should be attached to you, and trust you. Then my friend when this bond is there, he will be normal in every aspect. If heis train to bite, give him a sleeve or a tug.

Imran, thanks. Biting and working out in the field is making the dog relaxed. It was good for him. Thanks.

WOW! That first post you wrote on here was exactly how my boy was. It took some time, just be patient, give lots of love, play, play, play, and more play! To me it just seems like the more I play the closer he and I get. Dont use any punishment if at all possible. I keep it "Purely Positive" here. Just give him some time.
