Sieger Zamp vom Thermodos dies, aged 8!
People cry their hearts out!
But do they start thinking? I don't think so!
The former BSZS Sieger dies only 8 years old!
Does that tell us anything?
It certainly schocks me and raises a lot of questions.
OK, like all the Sieger he fu**ed his brains out, but they don't die from that, do they?
There seems to be quite a lot of show dogs suddenly dying away on us and way too soon too!
I have know and seen a couple of them myself.
Do you know any? Try to remember what dogs passed out way before their time was due...

Maybe before you all jump to conclusions you should find out what the dog died from people all over the world die young is that because they are line bred dont think so facts are what count not speculation Zamp was one of these one in a million dogs and a fantastic ambasador for this breed so until all the facts are known i sugest you keep your speculation to your selfs

Here we go!!!!!! Didn't take long for all the nasties to start speculating! Jantie... now i understand how losing your beloved dog was heartbreaking, and you vowed revenge, but don't you think it's time to move on? You have become obsessed and that is dangerously unhealthy.

couldn,t agree more singer and jim h.jantie that was a horrible and digusting thing to say.even people die at all ages and sometimes no one knows why.i had dogs i,ve bred die at various ages.one i sold had to be put to sleep at 18 mths with stomach cancer.one of my own at 3,her sister and brother at 7.a male from wot i believe is a close inbred litter died at 12,just dropped dead in his run after his tea.his sire died at 10 from a torsion and his dam at 12 from cancer.so ....SO MUCH FOR THE THEORY OF CLOSENESS OF BREEDING.i suggests everyone waits for an annoucement,if the Dietrich family choose to do so,to the reason.DONT JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS.COULD HAVE BEEN A TORSION.LET THE FAMILY GRIEVE.i offer the dietrich family my sympathy and condolences at this sad times and may your memories bring a smile to your faces in the near future.R.I.P.ZAMB.Carole Spelman Rheinmeister Gsds.

Hi ALL,
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE let this forum post continue in a cheerful positive way and show respect to an absolute ICON and Legend that Zamp was to the current breed and please don't allow this post to be anything else but....
ZAMP was a champion, but he was also a beloved pet and worshipped family companion, please show respect to those who have lost a family member "ZAMP"
lets also please remember the terrific things this legend did for the breed, yes 8 years of age is still way to young, but what a wonderful 8 years Zamp had with his beloved family.
R.I.P Zamb and may your memories and legendary status live on through your children and grand children.
With the great respect,
Matt & Caryl

Jantie,
why do you have to resort to that kind of vulgar language?? Do not forget that this is the board where you still have most of the support because the current regulars have not been around long enough to know or remember. All the other forums think of you like the bull does of the color red. Even though I never agreed with you and always thought of your statistics as half truths and fabrications, I at least had compassion and respect.
But you are certainly working hard on changing my mind!
I never had the pleasure of meeting Zamp, neither did I breed one of my females to him, but he certainly was a pilar in our breed. And as many pilars, they do not only bring positive apects to the genepool as no dog is perfect, but he certainly left his mark in his beautiful offspring. And why does it matter that he died at a relatively young age? Dogs, just like humans are not immortal. Some die in puppyhood, some in accidents or due to illnesses, and then there are some who make it to a ripe old age. Others die due to certain genetic predispositions and then a few are killed because their owners or caretakers chose that path for them, like your Indiana! When you decided to end his life, we all showed compassion here, even though we strongly disagreed with your decision. So, at the very least, extent the same courtesy to Zamp's family. He was not a commercial product and sold off to the highest bidder as some of his peers are. He was foremost a beloved member of his family!
Rest in Peace, beautiful Zamp!!!
