Pictures - Page 1

I would like to share some pictures of my GSD. Can someone please give me instructions on how to do it.

You can upload your pictures to this site easily by clicking the above tool icon that looks like this mountain. >

1 Click the browse server button in the image info tab.
2 Click make a folder (for yourself) and name it.
3 Click browse - (below "Upload a new file in this folder" in the same window)
4  Navigate to the picture on your computer and double click it, then hit the upload button on the right side.

Then when you want to post a picture:

Place the cursor where you want the picture and hit the mountain icon.
Hit browse server, open your folder and click the pic.
Make sure to set a width of 600 or less.


You can also upload your pictures to a server on the web somewhere else.
(Like photobucket, etc... )

Most people get web space with their Internet provider but never use it.
I like using the space from my Internet provider because I have more control over my content.
In this case you would just paste the URL for the image in the URL box.
When you copy and paste the link into the URL box, make sure you only have the address and no other text.
The address usually starts with HTTP and ends with .png  .jpg or .gif.

If you want to show people a larger image than what fits comfortably in the forum page space:

Use a photo editing program to make the photo the desired size.

I will use an example image 1000x750  72 dpi

1.  I upload the image to my folder.
2.  I add the image to this page and size it to 200 wide.
3.  I copy the link from the URL box in the image info tab.
4.  I click the link tab and paste the URL into the box.
5. I decide if I want the image in a new window or the same window. (this example - same window)
After clicking OK - the small image now has a blue border indicating it is a link.
6. Then hit submit

I'VE TRIED USING MY PHOTOBUCKET AND IT WILL NOT UPLOAD MY PICS.......


WERE DO I GO TO DOWN LOAD MY PHOTO BUCKET PICS ON ANY TOPIC BESIDES MY GALLERY??

I went to the PDB Gallery page and found your photobucket link (URL)

I copied it from that page (without image tags) Hit the image button (mountain) and pasted it into the URL box in the image info tab.



You might have to control click a picture - select view image - then copy the URL.

When you use photobucket - you are not uploading to PDB - PDB is displaying them from photobucket.
