But a GORGEOUS male from Ireland, nonetheless!

I just saw a 'for sale' ad for Quando av Thorarinn.  What a GORGEOUS dog!

Does anyone have a video link of him working/gaiting?

Wonder how much they're asking...   [slaps self...]

Okay, okay, I was just wondering!

[sigh....]  The only thing I don't like about him is he's got a lot of white markings. I especially love that topline:  "The top line starts at the base of the neck and continues over high and long withers and a straight back up to a slightly sloping croup without a clearly visible disruption." (SV breed standard.)

Hey, a gal can dream, right?

He IS beautiful o.O!  Where are you seeing a lot of white?  I just see the normal cream color on the inside of the legs and on the belly.

Having seen this male many times in the flesh, i can assure you there is no white.

It looks like there is a white spot on his neck near the collar, and a lot of white on his underparts. The white underparts are pretty much standard on a B&T showline, but some of the white appears to extend up past his elbow.

Sorry, I've got a showline bitch that showed a lot of white as a pup, and she now has badly faded pigrment, so it's something I'm REALLY inclined to notice when looking at a dog!

Bazza, you say you didn't see this when you saw the dog in the flesh. Maybe it's just the way the light is hitting his coat. I'll check out some other photos when I have more time.

Unfortunately, I live on the other side of the ocean from him, so a puppy isn't very likely, unless he's sold to North America. With my luck, he'll wind up in India or Japan, or some other country on the other side of the world!

hi Xeph, bazza,& Sunsilver, I saw the dog (Quando v Thorarinn) in the flesh last week when i was over with his owner...Viduct Gsd..and have to say...he is a large very impressive male with a excellant topline, very good pigment (no white),very good croup of good lenght, excellant front & rear angulation, and has seen him move which i must say is excellant, I would love to have him in my kennels,I think he is 2yr old, and is not far off is Irish national title of Champion,      STAVROS

Seems a little strange to me that he could make the title of Sieger and not yet have his championship. The system over there must be quite different!

Seriously, anyone want to hazard a guess as to what they'd be asking for a dog like this?  I'm really curious to know.

A lot to like here.  I don't see any white at all???  A little bit of an Akita head, though.

Thank you Stavros :)

I myself saw no white.  It's just cream markings (which are perfectly acceptable by the standard).  The only GSDs I've seen that don't have such markings are blacks (duh xD).
