By hand, fingers on keyboard. It's a long, tedious process sometimes.
Go back to Halley's pedigree. Select 'update pedigree' Enter the father's information, then continue on until you get the message that says the father is not registered on the site. At the bottom, it will give the option of registering the father. Select this and it will open up in a new window. When you are finished entering his data, close his pedigree, and refresh the info on Halley. The dog you just entered should now show up as Halley's sire.
Repeat the process for Halley's mom.
If the grandmothers and grandfathers aren't registered on the site, you will have to repeat the same process for them. At some point, hopefully sooner than later, you will come to a dog that IS registered on the site, and the pedigree will be more or less complete. Please remember, the new information on the parents will not show up under the offspring's pedigree until you refresh the page.
