When you go to post a message, click on the icon above the text box that looks like mountains and the sun on a yellow background. A dialog box will pop up asking you to paste the URL where your picture is (such as hosted by photobucket, etc.) or click the tab for "upload." If you choose "upload," find the photo on your computer, and click "send to server." It will return you back to the original dialog box, and you can preview your photo. If it looks okay, click OK. Here is my test photo I just did to be able to type directions for you:

Please resize the photos to about 300 to 400 in the verticle so they are not too big

Lief,

When you copy and paste the link into the url box, make sure you only have the address and no other text.
The address usually starts with http and ends with .jpg or .gif.

It looks like you had extra characters in the link.

When you get it working, I'll remove the test image. (removed)
