My club trains at a public park, so she isn't allowed to go to training until she's had at least one more set of shots. In the meantime I have just been doing little drive building exercises with her and having her walk bedside me for a treat. She seems like she's catching on pretty fast.
She also doesn't like to be held and coddled. She tolerates petting for a little while. She just isn't a real LOVER like a lot of puppies. My understanding is that her sire is the same way. She's kind of aloof, which is exactly what I wanted in her when I decided to get a puppy from her litter.
She is confident and self assured so far. I hoping to start taking her out more once she's prpoperly immunized and start gradually exposing her to different situations.
Also including just a couple more pictures of her. I know I look high in the pictures. I'm not. I'm just not as photogenic as she is :-)

It's especially hard with my son, who will be 3 in February. As you can see in the picture (evidence!) , I am a battered Mom.
My dog is biting my arm and my son is smacking me on top of the head with Buzz LightYear screaming "To infinity...and Beyond!"
My house and yard are strewn with toys. I thought you could never have enough toys. Until I trip over them, or the dogs or the kids. It's a lot of work but also a lot of fun.
Theresa, I am sending you a pm!
Thanks again guys for letting me share.
