Has anyone used these before. If you dont know what im talking about here is a link. I saw for the first time on this website.
http://www.fordogtrainers.com/dogpinchcollar-5015001455madeingermany.aspx
NOTE: I am not advertising that company, i just found it there. Thats all.
Im curious if this is just a re-invention of the wheel or just a fly by night thing.

Yeah I seen it before I am big fun of fordogtrainers.com, to be honeset I don't see a benfit of using it over standard pinch collar, unless you trying to not show that you using one in public.

The prongs themselves are shorter in length and I have been told by a few who've tried it that they are less effective. More for the look for proofing your dog out in public than for real trianing.

I also stock these in my store (www.vytensa.co.uk) and the sales pitch basically goes something like this;
The prongs are designed in such a way that they are the shape of a dogs teeth and so therefore mimic the action of , say a mother gripping a pup and is theoretically more effective than a standard pinch.
So far I've only sold a few of these and mostly to those who work their dogs in the public domain and who don't want it known they use such collars. Personally I feel they are expensive and the price does not justify the change from a traditional pinch.....used correctly of course
All the best

I saw these new collars a couple of weeks ago when i was watching a trial in Holland, I thought it a good time to buy a Pinch Collar for Izzy Bitch otherwise i would have to travel 50 kms to buy one later on, It is not been used yet not for a few months but i have it now should i need it,
The Guy suggested the covered in new type, but as i said i am not trying to cover her collar i have no need too do so there is nothing to hide i said, What ever collar you use some will abuse its use, Personally i think with many dogs the fact that they are wearing such a collar is a deterrent for them not to act silly , Dogs are no fools
