I recently saw an ad for pups that said "Not hyper or bouncing off the walls".....
That's what I liked about my last litter, even though the sires background was full of Sch 3's,
What gentle pups!
This is a Dana/Yak pup, the biggest male out of 7 pups, at 13 weeks old, the day after he settled into his new home
is that a great temperament or what, nice to get updates that are cute!

Thank You, Ibrahim,
I have his sister which I named "Sweet Caroline Von Ryanhaus"!
When I brought them to the vets for puppy shots, the vet thought they were big pups, not over weight---just BIG!
That was a very solid litter, and every kid that came over to visit got licked instead of the pup being mouthy, really neat pups!
That baby pictured just loves dogs, I mean he really needs to hug the dog & be with the dog all the time, a true dog lover!

It's all in the genes and how you bring them up. Ikon is now 4.5 months and while he has his Cyclone moments as any puppy will, he happily chills out without our having to run him for an hour to wear him out like some people have to do with their working line dogs. He LOVES to play, LOVES the flirt pole, LOVES his ball, His stuffed toys, Old plastic soda bottles, Canvas boat bumpers, swimming in the river and is always up for an adventure. He has his lil brat things we're still working on ...like his favorite thing is to get into the car before the other dogs then get in their face and play king on the mountain as they try to enter the car... he doesn't think my idea of him sittinig quietly on a lead til the other dogs get in is fun AT ALL.!!! But he's going to be quite a powerful strong spirited dog when he matures, so learning a bit of restraint is important while he's still young.
