I am going to volunteer with a friend from my club. I'm very excited; it will be my first sieger show. I was supposed to be showing my dog- I registered her and everything- but she got very sick and probably won't be able to show again. On a lighter note, I'm excited to talk to breeders and find out about upcoming litters for the when I get my next pup. I got the email that said there are now at least 200 entries, is that about averege or a fewer than usual?

Not going, waaaaay to far!!  I wondering if they are hurting for entries?  I went to NASS 2008, USA 2009, and will attend NASS and USA 2010.

Champion, I thought there were over 400 entries for NASS 2008?  Maybe not, I can't remember where I got that number from.  Of course not everyone shows up...

It might be common at these shows but at the Danbury show there were kennels with many dogs that competed in different categories. The same handler had to compete almost all day.

My husband handles for ourselves and others......he is usually in almost every class.....poor guy.
He did the helper work a couple years back, and then had to run from ring to ring........I don't know where he has the energy?!
When the shows are more "centrally" located,....breeders can exhibit more dogs.
My husband is making the drive this year to CA......so only a few dogs.

Good luck to the competitors.
