Pat your comment was rude and uncalled for, we should all be supporting each other and not making comments in regards to which region is better or which has more entries etc, etc. Each and every region work hard and love the sport of Schutzhund so let's all support each other and try to be the adults that we are. Good luck to all the handlers and their dogs.

Its not rude for someone to have an opinion on what they think is their favorite region. It's kind of like having a favorite football team.

It was a great event at a beautiful location and very well run.
A big Thank You goes out to Minnesota Valley Schutzhund Verein for hosting this event and the Gellers for allowing the use of their beautiful trial field and facilities. Both the club and the Gellers are gracious hosts. If you are ever lucky enough to meet them, the Gellers make everyone feel like family. Very nice people!
A big Thank You is also due to Mike Caputo for stepping in on very short notice to judge this event after the sudden loss of Mark Przybylski a few weeks ago.
Congratulations to the North Central Regional Champion Bob Cook and his dog, Akki vom Haus Ehrenreich. Akki's protection routine (98) was a pure pleasure to watch, including a ferocious long bite/courage test where he knocked a somewhat surprised back-half helper flying onto his butt. A very nice recovery was made by the helper and both the dog and helper were un-injured and beautifully finished the rest of the routine. It was also very nice to see Bob and Nate, the helper, speaking to each other like gentleman at the end of the trial. You both are to be commended for this and your sportsmanship is something others should take note of and learn from!
Bill Kulla and his dog Arrek had a nearly flawless obedience routine (97). Other than Arrek needing a second platz command after a really, really nice send-out this team's obedince routine was perfect.
Kudos are also in order to a couple of Auslanders, Tom Schmitt and his Malinos, J ot Vitosha, who also knocked one out of the park with a 96 in ob (3rd overall) and Jessy Gabriel with her awesome female GSD, Aline von der Wolfsmilch. Jessy and Aline travelled all the way from Texas to Minnesota for this trial. They were 2nd overall, High in Tracking and High Auslander.
Both Jessy and Tom (and his lovely wife) were extremely nice people!
Congratulations to Jennifer Acevedo on becoming the new North Central Regional Director and a big Thank You to Gordy Esselmann for all of your help running our region and the many years of service to the USA organization!
