what does Q-litter, L-litter etc mean?

Breeders typically name each pup from a given litter with the same letter of the alphabet, in alphabetical order. It is a nice way to keep track of your litters; a whole lot easier than having each pup have a different style or different beginning letter name.

If I am not mistaken, this naming convention is still a requirement if one is a member of the S.V. and follows their protocol for breeding.
It is a simple, yet very effective means to identify a litter, and the litter character is usually one (1) component of the ear tattoo.
