Interested to know if anyone on the board could list some breeders in the NY,NJ,CT area for working line puppies. I am looking for a household dog to also work in agility and therapy work. I have seen the kennels listed in previous post, but wondering if anyone has some good breeders/kennels they are in contact or have previous transactions through them, where all went well...?

Rokanhaus in CT - excellent working lines, and a breeder who will stand behind the pups for their lifetimes. http://rokanhaus.com/ Kandi Jacopino - kjacopino@aol.com molly http://workinggermanshepherd.com

Hello! Kandi here! Yes, I have a repeat litter planned for late Winter/Spring. These will certainly be pups that thrive in a learning environment. The dam is a titled import I chose specifically for the sire. The sire is a National/Regional schutzhund competitor and the 2006 USA National Obedience Champion. He also is a certified Therapy dog. If nothing else, you are certainly welcome to stop by and meet the dogs, even if to only help you determine exactly what you are looking for and where to find it, if not here. www.rokanhaus.com

I have personally worked with Kandi of RokanHaus - Everything went extremely well! No problems at all, and look forward to doing business again!

Jagermeistershepherds.com, I would definitely try this working dog kennel, I don't think you will find any better dogs in the New Jersey area, than the dogs Carlos Rojas owns, personally I own dogs from this kennel, they are outstanding dogs on and off the field, Carlos is very knowledgeable and experienced in the breed. Carlos is a consistant regional and national competitor, multiple FH Champion, currently this years AWDF FH champion, and North American FH champion, I don't believe any one kennel has accomplished that, he has also been on the cover of Schutzhind USA numerous times. You definitely will not go wrong with this kennel. Good Luck.
