Dr Roger Mugford has come on board to help with to campaign to save Saxon. He is a famous and very well respected canine behaviourist and has done battle with the police and the law under the dangerous dogs act and has major kudos in the UK. He is in communication with Gwent and they are 'warming to his suggestions' regarding Saxon's future. As Gwent have been buried beneath an avalanche of emails, letters and FOI enquiries plus the furore in the media it has been suggested that we lighten up on them for a while to help finesse Rogers bargaining. To this end please do not further antagonise Gwent - until we know how things are progressing in their dialogue with Roger. Lets all hope this is the light at the end of the tunnel. Carol

Keep us posted everyone on this board has done a super job and I think without all those emails etc and the heat being one he would already be down. Marlene

No doubt whatsoever about that Marlene. We do still need to monitor this closely and not let it slip though the cracks.

Well Done Radical for the coo of getting Dr Roger Mugford involved. Fingers crossed he will be able to properly assess Saxon and persuade Gwent to let the dog have a happy, peaceful retirement with the family who love him. Regards Sue
