Brett Rogers is a Canadian film maker who shoots amazing outdoor expedition films. If you haven't seen his film, 100 Days, about floating down the Yukon River on a homemade raft then I highly recommend it.
Brett has a new film out that he is distributing freely on the Internet called Old Man River. In this film, he rows down the Mississipi River in a very small boat with a few friends for 110 days. A new chapter of the film is released every Tuesday (3 are already available). You can watch the film on YouTube or on Vimeo.
Brett is asking folks to leave a comment if you enjoyed watching his film and to consider sharing the link to his film with friends and family. He'd really like his work to be seen by as many folks as possible.
If I sound like a fan, it's because I am. I met Brett last year at a screening of 100 Days and found him to be a really nice, normal guy trying to find a way to live his dream.

Looks like it will be great to watch. I get the feeling you loved pioneer quest too :)_ heheheh ( I loved it , not afraid to admit it.) i still think my dad and I could have done a better job :) It would have been a fun project!

I loved Pioneer Quest too! You and Martin (my husband) would have made an unbeatable team (he lived the life growing up). Martin would love to be on Man Tracker too (didn't they film an episode in your area?). Part of the appeal of those shows (and Brett's films) is to see amazing scenery (in places I'll never go) and watch a stranger suffer the elements (while I'm stretched out on my couch). :)

Yes Martin and I would have built a village and probably NOT lit the poor pig on fire. ( I still get wigged out over that!) It did surprise me at how little knowledge the families chosen had. I could not survive Mantracker! I do not do well in games like paint ball Capture the flag, way to intense and I come up in drive ( LOL) I used to play it all the time but I get too serious. I go Rambo when I am being chased, I am not getting captured come hell or high water. These games are supposed to be fun :) I would probably let Mantracker capture me .....on purpose . Oh mantracker, I have twisted my ankle and can't seem to get up.........

Yep- Canadians like their reality tv harsh. But can you believe that the show fired Terry Grant (or he quit?)- like anyone could replace him. He is Mantracker. Huh- could be your big chance to shine. Are you going to audition?

Uhhh, now that's just crazy! How can they do the show without him?
I'll be lady tracker... tracking Canada's north with GSD's and a Morgan filly! We can film it kind of like Lost. The show could have "the others" who would come and take people from their camp in the night! Oh the ratings, then we will randomly get Ben Browder to walk across the screen........
