request for justice - Page 1

Dear All,
My Name is Amit, and I am from Mumbai.
Would like to share one thing with all of you regarding my dog ‘Tyson’, (KCI Redg. No. 2008/025407)

I had bought Tyson (GSD puppy) from Mr. Sukhbeer Singh Lamba (Bobby Lamba)  in December, 2008. When I bought him from Mr. Lamba that time he had made commitments like He is a good puppy, He will become champion in all KCI shows, confidently you can put him into Siger shows as he is just like his father (Ch. Vasco Vom Wutachtal) he will win most of the shows for sure. He will produce good puppies.

When I received the puppy by flight that time his hinds was weak (condition was look like HD – hip dysplasia). I did enquiry for the same with Mr. Lamba but that time he gave me answer like “ He is just a puppy now, once he become mature it will all normal no problem at all in hinds. Even his father also had same problem till his age of 11 months, his problem got solve after that level of maturity. So you don’t need to worry about it.” But now Tyson is 3& half year old and still condition is the same or its worse than the earlier.
I would like to request all of you to ban such breeder from our industry so that no one else faces the same problem ever again. I am requesting you all of you to help us out to get justice to my dear Tyson & my family who has loved him a lot & has taken care as a younger kid of our family.

I don't live in India, I've never heard of this breeder.  BUT, if you are going to make accusations against a breeder then you need to show actual proof.  

No where do I see you mention that there is a contract or a promise by the breeder that refund or replacement would be given if the pup was proved to have a genetic health problem. 
No where do I see that there is any actual proof that the dog has hip dysplacia, are there hip x-rayed evaluated by a reputable orthopedic organization certified radiologist as dysplastic? 
I don't even see photos (or better yet, video.)
No where do I see that you talked to the breeder beyond one time when the dog was a puppy.  I can only assume that you didn't even give the breeder a chance to make things right with you before coming on here to smear their name. 

No breeder can truly promise that a pup is going to be a winner in the show ring or will produce good pups.  But you don't even say if you've shown this dog or bred this dog, so why complain that the breeder said you could win with him or get good pups from him? 

One person's opinion of weak hind quarters can be different from another's.  You bought a showline dog, presumably with hopes to show to championship.  The average typey show dog (in GSDs) is over-angulated.  Over-angulation tends to win well in shows.  To most people who are not familiar with seeing these shows in person the over-angulated dog may very well look like it has a weak hind end.  

It is overly extreme and unrealistic to demand that a breeder be banned and to get "justice" with only your word and no proof.  

If every dog breeder was banned because someone had some real or imagined complaint against them then there would be no breeders and no dogs. 

what euro said, plus, every breeder will throw the occaisonal puppy with bad hips.  It is the law of averages, even the best matched dogs will eventually throw a bad pup.  It does't mean the breeder should be banned.

As you said there is no proof that my dog is having any health problem or hip dysplacia problem.

Then i would like to tell you that i have 4 X-ray scann reports which shows that my dog has hip problem.
its happen becoz of poor breeding. When i asked for a gsd puppy for show purpose, then with false commitments breeder sold me this puppy onle for money.

why didnt he reply me when i tried to call him or reach him for this problem several time?? becoz he knew that he did wrong thing. 

4 understand how u feel. U aim high but was given a dog u now knew could not get u that high. Now, just bear in mind that before u get that high, u must have fallen, make mistakes or even bruised from good, bad n sometimes ugly breeders: ie like your present expirience. All because, you're "inexpirienced" in dogs, GsD in particular. If not how could a breeder tell you that you'll get a champ out of your dog. Research further, talk to reputable breeders(home/foreign), check the internet etc, of course you have very good breeders in india. Expand your knowledge on the gsd, ask questions, then get "higher".

Thank you for reply and your valuable suggestions. you are right my present experience is bad, but will come out of it, but still i want KCI should bann these kind of breeders who breed this kind of dogs.
