What exactly does it mean?

1. The creator is fed up with his creation?

OR

2. The creation is fed up with the creator?

Just wondering.

The only one I know who has seemed to coin that phrase on here, does not believe in a creator.
From what I understand, he means the mess is so bad, we pretty much have to destroy it all, and start over.

Funny thing is, that is exactly what is going to happen.   :)

Not 100% sure that the term creator necessarily has to relate to religion.

A creator can also be simply one who creates.  Not believing in a creator is kind of leaving half the definition by the curbside.

I think we are more likely to see the sun explode and the need of civilization on this planet over a resurrection.

After all it has been proven that stars burn out and collapse so I see this as the most likely end to civilization on earth.

Suns only last so long and when they burn up there fuel, the game is over. This solar system has been here billions of years and that life giving sun is liable to burnout in the coming decades or centuries. JMO.

In the beginning this morning I created an omelette, then I destroyed it.  It was great.  I'm both a creator and a destroyer..

GSD, while I agree that at some point our sun will indeed explode or implode or whatever they do...  I don't think that will be the end for us here on Earth.  I believe it will be far more likely that we'll take care of that ourselves far before the sun's fuel runs out.  That could take millenia.  Our bitch slapping of each other on a macro level and the planet overall is more likely to 'create' our own demise in the coming decades.

What exactly does it mean?
First you must put it in the context of it's use.
It has nothing to do with creation.

The meaning is simple, you can't fix the problem.

To burn it all down would be to kill the disease and allow new growth to start over.
A cure that seems worst than the disease at first glance, a great and painful destructive experience in the short term.
But for future generations new birth, and in the longer term a new beginning, time to breath, time to heal and regenerate.
Time to start over and do it right.

At least until history repeats it's self, which does not need to happen if the lessons of the past are not lost.

The only way to stop a machine is to cut the power, is it that simple?
No not really, as long as there is a power source (fuel) it can be turned back on.

If your going to burn it all down you must let it all burn.
Like a brush fire on the Savanna, or the Great Outback, like our own Prairie's before man changed the land, the fire will burn until it has consumed all that is fuel and then gently die out on it's own.
What comes back is meant to be.
Life will flourish once more without the weeds than exist only to take over the land for their own sake.

Some men are weeds, want is a weed, ignorance is a weed, religion is a weed, dependence on technology is a weed.

The meaning is simple, you can't fix the problem.
Man has always known this and he uses this knowledge against other men.
So he built his army's, invented gods, and uses his machine (systems) to give the illusion of security and purpose.

A great fire is coming, but it's not the one we would hope for, and it will not be good.
Because man has niether the strength or the wisdom to stop it, so he preys for Devine intervention, or places his will in the hands of others instead of taking responsibility for it himself.

You have the power, you just don't know it.

FUBAR,
Moons.
