If you're getting an ISO microchip put in a puppy who is going to be sent overseas.....Do you register all the microchip information using the soon to be owners info? Or my own for now?

Nevermind, I found out from where I got the microchip itself who's information to put.

I always register the puppies in my name first then I have a permanent record of the new owners , when the puppy is picked up I have them fill in a Change of Ownership form and I return a copy to council that way I know that council also has a permanent record of (1) I am the breeder and (2) who the new owner is. I don't trust others to return the form as that costs them money.
I do know many who microchip the puppy and just hand over the form for the buyer to complete and then they are reponsible to register the puppy in the name of the buyer.
Know I am a control freak when it comes to my puppies.

Put it in YOUR name. YOU are the one who paid for it and it is YOUR responsibliity to know where your PUP is whether abroad or here.
THE new owner can then transfer it and it will always trace back to you and you know you can find it thru that means..
You are the owner of the said PUP until your registration is transfered and the pup is in its new home , paid for and legal paperwork completed. Until then the chip is YOURS to keep a trace on YOUR pup.
