Wanting to know what everyone thinks about non titled dogs? Because i know people who have dogs that are and some that are not,
The ones that are not work just as hard maybe even harder then the dogs with titles. And they have a V' in rating. or does titles just look good on paper? I have seen alot of dogs that were imported with Sch. Titles and they work like crap?
Thanks wanting to know what you thought?

imo only, titles seem for the most part to be important to people who feel they are important and not so important to people who do not feel they are important.

Just because a dogs does not have a title, does not mean that he can not work.  All it means is that the owner
did not trial the dog to obtain the title to have it recorded in a book, with a particular club.  I have seen some untitled
dogs work just as hard, and even harder than titled dogs.  On the other hand, I have seen titled dogs that made me
shake my head and wonder how they got the title.

Not sure what direction the orignal question is directed at.  Opinions of untitled dogs for what purpose?

Just because the US president couldn't produce a valid birth certificate, doesn't mean he wasn't born, ha ha.  There are literally MILLIONS of undocumented workers in this country, even as we speak.

Unless you can see the dog work yourself.... then I dont really believe anything anymore. If a dog has bunch of tittles from different fields, then Yes, I give the dog the credit for the titles. If a person/s I respect tell me that the dog can work becasue they have seen the dog work, I will believe them.

Other than that.. I could care less!

Titles are more of a selling tool these days than a measure  of quality of the dog , many dogs have passing scores on their homefield with a friendly judge , also plenty of dogs never actually did exam , I personally did exam with one of my dogs on a showline clubexam For IPO 2  and two  dogs that didnot look good at tracking even didnot show up for obedience and bitework , you can imagine my surprise when I saw afterwards in the papers they both passed their SchH3

Also another dog was written to pass his FH2 that nobody saw that day

I want to see the dog work, I,ll read the propaganda latter. Same thing with scores in the book show me the dog before I need to hear about the scores. But that is me.

Duke, you are getting close to bashing, regardless of whether it is true or notsmiley.

dont think so gustav ,maybe if I write the name of the judge of that day  , or of the dogs who didnot show but passed

you also didnot hear of the dog last year that made SCH exam on the same day that he was Xrayed 200 kilometer from the trailfield

duke,
I believe a similar thing happened many years back
with a well known Rottweiler many years ago.
Not only was he in Czech being titled, he was
also at an AKC event winning on the same day!
OOPS

That dog really did live up to his name "Champ"
